In a blend of innovation and urban development, the WeGenerate project brought together representatives from its demo cities—Tampere, Bucharest, and Cesena—for a visit to the fourth demo city, Cascais, on December 3-4, 2024. Representatives of the fellow cities also travelled to this coastal city in Portugal to take part in the study visit’s activities.

 

Following the 2-day programme, participants engaged in targeted workshops and gained valuable insights into best practices for energy projects currently underway in Portugal. They also explored the Cascais demo site in Alcabideche, where they exchanged impressions and ideas about project development. Additionally, the group visited the Nova SBE campus, further enriching their experience and fostering collaboration.
